HYPEROPIA

Hyperopia or long sightedness is a condition in which light is focused behind the retina, usually resulting in blurred near vision. People with hyperopia usually see well at long distances but have difficulty seeing clearly in short distance. People may not realise they have hyperopia but once it is diagnosed and corrected with spectacles or contact lenses close vision is enhanced.
